A Barrow Load of Fun

3/4/19 The restored and refurbished trader’s barrow is now back in the Glen and in place in the greenhouse. This morning some of the volunteers from the Tool Shed in Kinghorn met with the Friends to celebrate the official return of the barrow. The volunteers at the Tool Shed (many of whom are part of the dementia friendly group) put their skills to good use and made a marvellous job of restoring the barrow and painting it in the traditional red and green of a trader’s barrow. One photograph shows David a volunteer from the Tool Shed and Jim one of the Friends of Pittencrieff attaching the Friends of the Glen sign (the sign was made by the Tool Shed volunteers). The other shows some of the group who met in the greenhouse this morning to welcome the barrow back to the Glen.
